Marissa’s years in clinical practice fueled her desire to start Handpicked Kitchen to materialize her passion for using food and nutrition to optimize our health and wellbeing to prevent illness. She believes that our health and longevity is very thoroughly and intricately woven into the health of the planet, particularly to the soil in which our food grows.
Marissa completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences, her Master of Science in Clinical & Preventative Nutrition, her PhD in Nutrition & Exercise Physiology, and holds a board certification as a Registered Dietitian.

Camilla’s love for food began at an early age, blossoming around the dinner table where connection and creativity thrived. Her passion led her to culinary school in Ireland in 2016, where she honed her skills and embraced the art of cooking. Since then, she has dedicated herself to crafting dishes that celebrate seasonal, locally-sourced, and nurturing ingredients. Camilla’s vibrant creations reflect her deep respect for nature’s bounty, and she enjoys turning fresh, simple ingredients into extraordinary, vibrant dining experiences.
